I’d like to point out something to the NINO crowd:  Nova’s entire raison d’etre was to look at the Lee and Kirbyverse with new, fresh eyes; it’s part of the reason he’s called “Nova” (“New”) in the first place.  While Richard Rider could successfully come back under some other name, he wouldn’t be the same fresh-faced newcomer that he was back in 1976.  Yep, he’s been around almost as long as long as Wolverine and the Punisher and a bit longer than Ms. Marvel (He debuted the same week as Omega the Unknown).  Sam Alexander’s version of the character is much truer to the original concept than Richard Rider had become in recent years.

Boom. This single post has me wanting to buy the trade of the new Nova now. That and Original Sin 0 being really good.

Very in point and very true, Richard is a veteran already which really showed in his last title and Sam himself really resembles how Rich was when he started out (more than Rich himself).

Although I wish Rich could come back having the name Nova as well (Maybe Nova Prime?) since Nova are like Marvel GLs.
